About Us
I am an Upcycling Textile Artisan. All my art and household products are created using reclaimed textiles. I get my materials from thrift stores, clothing exchanges, clothing give aways and from friends cleaning out their closets.
How We Got Started
I began embroidery at age 10, knitting at age 12, and sewing in high school. I fell in love with rug hooking in 1992 and used only as found wool clothing in my rugs. My work with textiles, just naturally progressed from there.

On Cyber Monday, I ordered the equipment I need to begin doing "semi-professional" looking videos to create online workshops and demonstrations for those interested in the world of Upcycling Art. I have been wanting to do this for a long time and have not, for lots of personal reasons. With all of my in-person workshops cancelled due to Covid, I now need to go oneline for my business to survive.

I have joined Facebook and Instagram Market Places. Just starting so not sure if it will make a difference. Since she is retired, she can join Boomerang, where she can teach, give demos, or even workshops for free and get paid. The clients on this site are all people over the age of 60. I would suggest she do workshop creating flat objects from clay so they don't need a wheel and can take them somewhere to get them fired, such as tree ornaments or even buttons. The world is going online.
