About Us

Local Ad Face has been serving restaurant owners and sports bar owners, among the many others as well, who want to have their menu choices and special events on high quality flat screen televisions since 2010. The best part for them is that they didn't have to pay for the televisions nor the installation and maintenance. It was all free to them.

Highly motivated representatives, like me, cover areas around the city we live in without territorial restrictions and have presence throughout Florida, south-central Georgia, Nashville, TN and Wisconsin. Only of late has the company expanded into Texas and has plans to cover the entire U.S. in the next decade.

We provide local advertisers with quality ads we produce in-house that do not compete with the host venue nor with any other advertiser in each respective host venue. We also provide handsome referral fees to anyone who refers a business and that business signs up.

We're currently looking for experienced executives to take the opportunity into other states in the continental U.S. The commission is very generous and paid monthly.

How We Got Started

I first learned about Local Ad Face, or LAF, by patronizing a barbecue restaurant in a town not too far from where I lived and calling the number on the screen. I eventually got in touch with the president of the company and was convinced I had found the best opportunity for advertising sales in the country.

I got my start over twenty years ago selling ads to go on the reverse side of grocery store register tape. Although that business was lucrative at first, it changed when the company I was working with got bought out by a bigger company.

I transitioned into other types of direct selling, like Pizza-box top advertising, radio sales and even Welcome Wagon. Prior to my retirement five years ago, I was involved in billboard advertising - the big billboards on the highways. That business was, and still is, fraught with a lack of integrity among billboard owners and brokers.

After 5 years of retirement, I returned to work selling now for Local Ad Face here in Jacksonville.

I've relied on McStatts to do all my major copying needs, from single copies to hundreds of pages. Her rates are fair and her quality is outstanding. The service her staff renders has restored that missing element the big box stores and other retailers with a copy machine cannot equal. I love her wide variety of promotional items and apparel choices as well. Give her a call."

God has the perfect plan for thousands of years: "There are 6 days to work, but the 7th day is for rest." Even God knows that we need to take a break once a week. I take Sundays off myself.  (more) God has the perfect plan for thousands of years: "There are 6 days to work, but the 7th day is for rest." Even God knows that we need to take a break once a week. (more) The answer to this question is totally dependent upon your relationship with that client. Some clients like to keep particular matters private. Also, some service providers could lose their clients to competitors if the offering is the same, only cheaper. Typically, larger Fortune 100 companies with recognizable, national and/or international brands, can afford to have their logo be listed in marketing brochures. Still, I would not do anything to promote myself and my services/products without consulting my clients first to let them know what I'd like to do. Some might welcome it and even offer to add testimonials to show their loyalty to the service provider. The aforementioned being said, it might be a flattering gesture to offer a client to be included in the brochure to stroke their ego and make them stand out as someone to admire because they thought enough about the product to use it themselves and be associated with your company. If you can sell that aspect to boost your sales by featuring business clients in this way, you build around their sphere of influence as well as your own. This is sure to generate sales.

My favorite part has to do with staying "top of mind."  I'm involved with marketing. I used to do insurance years ago. Marketing makes businesses become top of mind to prospective clients in order to get the client thinking of them when they need a quote for themselves, their business and/or their families. There are many ways to stay top of mind with respect to marketing: 1) Advertise. Billboards, social media and school sponsorship get  your face and name out there for many to see. 2) Prospecting. Nothing replaces shoe-leather prospecting by going out with a stack of business cards and promotional items to give away to anybody and everybody. 3) Network groups like BNI. If no network groups are available, or the only ones already have an insurance representative included (exclusives in each category), start a new group. 4) Keep your brand consistent. Changing images and offerings too frequently might spook your prospects and you'll waste your investments. Be wise. Consider starting a blog newsletter that addresses matters important to your particular prospect base. Too often, corporate offices for insurance companies publish a bland, sanitized newsletter that is packed full of techno-babble and is too perfect. Besides, "Dear Occupant" is a dead giveaway to generic newsletters. Keep it real. Follow up with everyone you meet. Learn from Tom Hopkins and Joe Girard, two successful sales professionals who built their businesses sending heartfelt thank you and birthday cards penned with their own hands. This trumps the email or text message as no one receives a card in the snail mail anymore. Be different. Your clients will praise you for it. They might even give you the highest reward: referrals.

I would also switch out the bottom line and put, "I dare you to ask me what solution can you make me for a funding need."

(more) The best way, in my opinion, to pop up on Google's first page would be to create a YouTube channel, optimize it with many keywords related to your subjects and coinciding with your videos. Second, start making short videos 2-4 minutes in length and optimize them in all aspects: transcribing closed captions, keyword phrases in title and description, add many links and backlinks for your website in Description, create a thumbnail.  Use one theme and the same, or mostly the same, keywords as well as "longtail keywords" so that your videos link up. Make a minimum of one video per week and follow the directions above.  Organize them into Playlists and encourage viewers to "Like, Comment, Subscribe, Share" and follow the other links to see other videos. Since YouTube is owned by Google and is the #2 search engine behind Google, it gets extra listing "juice" for searching.   I did a project many years ago with a sales trainer here in the metro Atlanta area near where I live. He put out tons of these type videos. I optimized them to the search string "top secret sales tips." Google it and see where they show up "organically," meaning he's not paying for their rankings. Also, do a YouTube search for the same search string and see where his videos show up. After over 5 years, it's still exciting to see that he's getting hits from his videos.
