About Us

PanoramaNOW! Entertainment News provides Concerts, Festivals, Events, Recreation, Theatre, Art Exhibitions, Tourist Information and Attractions, to local residents and tourists as well. The magazine is the only Regional Magazine that is both direct mailed and dropped off. The Calendar of Events is VERY popular by all age groups. Even with social media, there is still a need to see ALL Happenings in ONE SPOT! This true for the Website as Well. Sign Up to Receive our weekly newsletter and you will stay in the know as to what's going on in Northwest Indiana.

How We Got Started

Felt there was a need for local folks to find out what's going on in all 3 counties. Especially the major Festivals, Concerts, Restaurants and Theatre, where local residents will be glad to drive 30 - 40 miles to go see. There was also a need to see all these events in one location and one time and ahead of time, not after the fact.

Some people are just meant to be entrepreneurs, it's in the blood. It's hard to describe. We tend to not like to take orders from others, have our own way of doing things, don't like to be interrupted by others. We have our own ideas of how things should and need to be done and don't want or need someone else telling us how to do things. Then, there's the creative factor. I'm also a creative person as well, whereby your productivity is based upon your moods - sometimes extremely creative and productive, and sometimes not so much. I many times do the work of 3 people (sometimes 5 people) for example. Entrepreneurs are very independent as well, you just know it when your are one. We think outside the box, create new ways of doing things, and have lots of short cuts,. (creative short cuts) If you get an Entrepreneur as an employee -  consider yourself very lucky and give them the space they need to spread their wings! We find a new way to do the same thing that's been done the same way for years!

If it's too fast, you can make mistakes that can never be made up. Both in production, deadlines, graphics and customer satisfaction. You also need to build up repeat customers and establish repeat customers - non of which can be done too quickly. They need to see results and you need to build up a system of trust. They also need to see quality and professionalism, which won't happen when you're going too fast. Production will also fail with moving too fast. It depends upon the experience too, and how long your staff has been working with the same technologies and how much experience too. A new company can't really have that much experience.

You should approach fashion stores, and also look for fashion shows in the area - even bridal shows. Another good client would be a boutique or business that specializes in make up - like Mary Kay. I would also think that a yoga studio or a fitness center would be another good client. And, how about coffee shops. Look at other ads that are targeted toward millenials and think about what businesses in your area are similar. Forget about franchises like starbucks - it's a waste of your time.

(For small companies on a limited budget) We reach over 35,000 NEW local residents thru direct mail and drop offs for only $35 a month. Sure spending more money will get you better results, but there as plenty of businesses out there that have a limited marketing budget.Aside from that, I suggest you being very active on facebook. Paid Boosts will limit your exposure, so you must be aware of that as well. Paid boosts are ok for people that have limited resourses - like a restaurant that has only 30 seats, but it WILL LIMIT YOUR Reach to new customers. Trust me, we've had personal experience with this little known algorithm. Good luck, and we'd be glad to sit down with you and go over your options. We have 37 years experience!

Now adays, methods of reaching customers are more segmented than ever before. There are tips to make sure the newsletter gets opened. If it's a printed newsletter, it will reach the older segment of customers that don't have or like computers. The video will reach the younger audience that searches on computers. It's a tough call to decide on one or the other. The older newsletter audience will tell their kids about it, and the younger video audience will tell their parents about it. You can have a link on the printed newsletter as well. But, I've been told by many millenials that they "Don't have time to look at the mail!" But, they do have "time" to scroll thru twitter, pinterest, and facebook feeds!

We had a consistent 5,000 Views Each Week, and the minute we did One Paid Ad, Facebook dropped us down to 300 Visits a week! So, we Developed our Own Method on Facebook and did a test. We compared a Paid ad and Our Own "Extreme Facebook" marketing and found that our own method produced 4 times the results the paid ad did!! So now, we charge people for our own "Extreme Facebook" program, and never do a paid ad for a client ever again. Of course, our target is very specific, local market and also adjoins our own target market. We do refuse those products or services that do not align with our own. (this should make sense if you understand how social media works.)
