About Us

The art gallery is unique in that it is located on the second story of a historic building that was built 100 years ago and was once Vancouver's first bank. There has been a full renovation done in the gallery and there is a new tenant that took over the other two rooms in this space and is also doing a full renovation. Soon the entire floor will be completely renovated (including the two available bathrooms we have available to our customers and clients). So, in addition to this space being a gallery there will also be a beauty salon/ spa/ esthetician/ massage center located here. The gallery will begin to hold events and classes soon as well as the other tenant. There is a balcony that overlooks Main street with seating as well.

How We Got Started

The gallery owner and manager was exploring downtown Vancouver one day and came across this space. She began by just subleasing part of the space for a number of months as her own personal studio space. During covid grand opening plans of turning the space into a gallery were put on hold. Recently the space was taken over and the gallery owner took over the lease and renovations. The gallery evolved from a personal studio and bare concrete floors to a fully renovated gallery with the help of family and friends.

It started out with figure drawing classes (which she still does occasionally) and then blossomed from there. (more) I’m an artist representing other artists so I like to look at and call my art gallery a “grassroots movement” because I work one on one with each artist. Each artist is unique and so is their work. With some of them that over print options of their originals I offer the service of fulfilling print orders for them when a customer wants a print or even if a customer wants a special print order, I work to fulfill that. I want everyone to leave the gallery feeling happy, fulfilled and equally represented for the artist that they are and what they have to offer.
