We do a lot of work for local schools and teams so if there is an event where they are asking for an ad for the school play or football program we will definitely do it. It keeps your name out there and you are showing your support to loyal customers.

(more) Process, prep, and production time are all too often not taken into consideration when customers are price comparing. I will share production with clients who stop in sometimes but a majority of our customer quotes are going out through emails without the client ever stepping foot in our shop and it is painstakingly difficult to try and explain the process this way. Another way to break the ice is to make it relatable. Most clients have a business of their own or work for someone that builds in costs to product or services they render. You can ask how they bill/price out their services. Is it just based on the lowest common denominator >? But ultimately I agree with Marcus from Ultra Limited Printing. You need to convey the value in the product and service they are receiving from your company over your competitors lowest price. 9 times out of 10 if we do lose a customer for cost we get them back a month later because of quality or production issues they had when switching to another vendor. You can also try posting some videos of production from start to finish on online social media to help educate your client.

I always keep a main list for project completion dates that is constantly being updated but I will also make a new separate list everyday with top 5 priorities. This priority list is handwritten and stays on my desk in plain sight as a constant reminder. It is also proven that handwriting improves your memory of the note. I also make a list for each of my employees with expected completion of projects for that day. I keep an open conversation going with my employees about our progress and If unexpected issues arise during the day we will adjust or reorganize the priorities on the list to accomplish the most out of the day. This helps keep everyone efficient in their work.

This has also been our experience. we have had more than a few customers come back to us after having a bad experience with their 'bargain' price. As the old saying goes ....'you get what you pay for'.You must still remain competitive in your market but show your customers the value you provide by being fair and honest. Provide excellent service and quality of workmanship and you will consistently grow a loyal client base that appreciate not having to hunt for someone new every time they require the service in your field.
