Business structure can take many forms.  I would need to discuss what your business is. How many potential owners there could be and get an idea of your business plan going forward. I'm really not completely sure about that. I would tell them to ask their accountant to determine how the rental property was handled. Based on the 1099 reporting info.. one of the questions is about any portion of the property used for business purposes. Given that, I would say that they are not...
