I am an event/wedding planner. I have a $1M Personal Liability Umbrella that I pay a small $30 monthly for as well as pay only a once for several of the same type of events each year. For example, hypothetically we may host five (5) annual craft & vendor events in which rather than paying funds individually for five (5) separate events we would simply have expenditures for just that one (1) expense then all five (5) of those events would be placed under that one (1) policy listing out the individual event locations, along with the expected number of attendees.

All coverage would be included such as the fact that our events attendance reaches over 2300+ for 2-day shows, we booked 120+ vendors including breweries, wineries, meaderies, distilleries, as  performance artists such as keynote speakers,  dancers, musicians including but not limited to Nashville Country Artists, Rock Artists, and /or may potentially have visitor join us such as speakers such as local Policitians as well.

There are an enormous amount of scams occuring every day across ALL social media platforms that it is ultimately VITAL that each and every one be vigilant and do our part not only to protect ourselves but also our clients and attendees also. I cannot count how often I have perps post onto my own advertisements piggy backing on my paid advertisements portraying themselves as part of my company and vendors believe them. I state the aforementioned just to state the following ... be sure to conduct your own research and do not simply trust the person on the other end, not saying they aren't trustworthy. Just stating be careful.

Know who you are dealing with. In my professional and personal opinion, and rule of thumb ... call three (3) insurance companies first. Then take all of that data and compare the benefits each provides to your company along with the cost  analysis for those coverages/benefits. Then at that point make the best educated decision on which one offers the best for your company. If you would like the information on the companies I use, because I do not use just one ... why use just one, again, use the one that gives you the best... feel free to connect. Best of luck. Thanks for allowing me to share my knowledge and thoughts/opinion. My insurance only covers me and my business. The only insurance I take when dealing with the venues is on myself, my company, and my staff. I do though include the venues as an extra insured to cover them should anything happen to the attendees while attending "MY" event.
