Executive Protection, also known as Close Personal Protection, is a set of security and risk mitigation measures put in place for VIPs and other individuals who face potential personal security risks due to their employment, high-profile and/or financial status, affiliations or geographical location.
Executive Protectors are sometimes referred to as “Bodyguards” but there are distinct differences. Though having a bodyguard with a WWE physique has its place and purpose for intimidation and appearance, Executive Protectors provide a larger array of services and skills such as risk assessment, advance work, security driving and lots of planning. These skills increase the odds of proactively preventing an event instead of reacting to one.
