Senior Champions provides in-home safety and accessibility evaluations for seniors with or without disabilities. Our certified evaluator is a retired physician was 25 years of experience with the physical, cognitive, and social needs of senior adults. We utilize proprietary software in our on-site visits to create a meticulous and comprehensive plan for renovation changes, recommending specific products and safe installation methods, which a renovation contractor can use to make the best changes for fall prevention and and usability of all rooms in the home and the exterior as well. Our evaluations can also be limited to one room such as the bathroom or kitchen. We then refer and/or consult with a renovator to clarify the clients needs. We return for a final inspection once the work is completed. Our work is a critical first step before a renovation contractor begins work. It is based on hard data regarding safety and best product solutions for each problem be they physical or cognitive. Our efforts also have value to the contractor since we have amassed significant data on best practices which meet and exceed the ADA recommendations. To underscore the importance and wisdom of engaging our services before actual work begins, we carry Errors and Omissions insurance which provides an additional layer of liability protection to the renovating contractor.
