When I started my first business I wish I would have known more about the differences between owning and leasing commercial property and owning and renting residential property. It is much better knowing what inspections are needed and who the inspectors are, than being surprised by one and having work delayed until architect drawings can be produced before work can start again. I wish each village, town, city, state had a check list and contact list for new business owners.
