If a commissioned employee resigns, should the business pay them commissions earned for leads generated, in accordance with state guidelines?

Well leads generated not per say I did not know about state guidelines however they should pay for every loan that's in the pipeline when it closes , however most lenders don't do it that way , they only pay for a month or maybe two at the most . I have US Bank as our go to for the First time home buyer program in Florida State. We at Freedom do our selling since we are a huge wholesale lender and I work for the retail operation in West Palm Beach . I believe US bank is only a wholesaler .
