I am a Focal Point Business Coach and Certified Exit Planning Advisor who works with business owners to get themselves and their companies ready to transition out of - on their terms and timeline. I help them create an exit strategy - which is really the same as building a solid business strategy - so that their business is ready to transition to a 3rd party buyer or family member at any point in time. Having an exit plan in place and executing against it is a huge stress reliever for the owner and builds the value of the company when it is time to transition. Prior to coaching, I worked in many functions, from financial planning & analysis to general management to building successful partnerships with companies from start-ups to major players who served small businesses as clients.

Throughout my career, I focused not only on the technical/business aspects of my role - which was building successful partnerships - but also on helping the people around me get better - whether they were direct reports, colleagues or associates at partner companies. I found that coaching/mentoring gave me a great sense of satisfaction so becoming a business coach was a logical path for me to pursue.
