Computer Solutions & Security, Ltd. is a full service IT consulting and Cyber Security support company whose mission is to simplify computer services for our clients by combining a fierce commitment to client service with a unique mix of business knowledge, technical expertise and creative thinking.
We provide Cyber Security Auditing, Penetration Testing (non-destructive hacker emulation). Vulnerability Scanning, Cyber Security Awareness Training, Network Management, IT Risk Audits and Security Audit Remuneration. These services will decrease your exposure to being hacked by analyzing your Infrastructure and reduce your exposure to asset loss by hacking or breach. This process may be required for compliance, but will definitely improve the protection of your company assets by lowering your risk to financial cyber loss.

How We Got Started
Initially an Electronics Engineer, later pioneered Microsoft IT System Networking in Chicago. Eventually Les started networking Law Firms and Healthcare Providers in Chicago. As a career he followed the leading edge of technology and now provides full IT services and specializes in Cyber Security protection and audiing.
BSEE/Computer Science Illinois Institute of Technology, CCNA, CDA, Connectwise Certified Security Engineer, Currently Studying for CISSP and Certified Ethical Hacker certifications.

A small business needs to understand what is at risk and what needs to be protected, then keep increasing your IT Security Hygiene to greater maturity. To do this you should start with a professional Cyber Security Audit and Risk Assessment.
These audits are priced cost effectively for small offices. This will identify what you have, what's exposed, what to do going forward.
After deciding how much risk you want to assume and what to remediate you will be informed and be in better control. This generally will begin with some staff awareness, working with your IT support or your staff.
I have read some of the comments, there are good approaches. Layered, Endpoint, etc. Each small business should have it's own approach. Giving you a specific answers, frameworks, services or products without knowing your needs and risks is unlikely to always work.
IT support companies historically want to create an "Offering Package", which fits their business model. For a small business this is a good approach to IT Support, not so much for IT Security. They are not the same.
When it comes to networks in a Small Business, they are like snowflakes, they are all networks, but slightly different when it comes to cyber security.
Cash is king, reoccurring income is sustainability. For you it’s your dream, for most of your employees it’s a job. Delegate then manage. Trust is the most valuable asset in an employee. Then read the E-Myth and never give up!

Sometimes legal and sometimes not. My rule of thumb is; if you paid less than 75%, it's likely not considered legal by Microsoft. You should first look at sites like Newegg.com, eBay.com, Amazon.com and expect OEM software (you can only put this on a single computer). The other sites selling Microsoft softrware at half or less may work, but sometimes they do not. Also you are likely buying software that Microsoft deems illegal. You take the risk. There are other ways to use Windows software for temporary. trial or development purposes that are free, but that is not likely what this subject is about.
I do this full time and have been doing so for over 30 years. I hardly have time for myself, let alone another business.

I have been a managed services provider for over 30 years. Thanks for the introduction to the process. At this time, I have recently added the process (2 years ago) of testing small businesses for cyber security risk, IT vulnerability and threats. I inspect your office computers, run software that determines your vulnerability to being hacked or exploited.
In this process, with your permission and control, I non-destructively emulate a hacker and inspect your computers and Servers for weaknesses. Technically this is called a Cyber Security Risk Assessment Audit with vulnerability scans and penetration testing. We do this locally and remotely throughout the U.S for small health care offices.
I work with your IT support people, or will help you resolve your vulnerabilities and threats. The benefit to doing this is to make you considerably less exposed to financial loss due to hackers, malware and employee mishaps. I focus on small offices from 1 to 50 computers. The costs and process are "right-sized" for the small business office. This type of IT security work historically been too expensive for the SMB. I have changed that. Call me, you will not be disappointed.
