I am the owner and lead photographer behind Janice Power Photography, and Janice Power weddings. I specialize in serving visitors and locals in the Whistler and Sea to Sky region. Whether working with consumers or with businesses my work focuses on celebrating and documenting adventure stories, outdoor lifestyles, and genuine moments of connections in nature.

After obtaining a degree in photography from the OCADU I began working in Toronto for a large commercial studio as an assistant, as well as working for a small boutique wedding photography company. I worked professionally as a photographer in Toronto for 4 years before deciding to make the move out to the west coast to follow my love of the outdoors. Upon arriving in Whistler I took a year off of professional photography work but never stopped photographing for fun. I brought my camera on ever hike, canoe trip and mountain exploration. I decided to start my own photography business the following year in an attempt to pair my two passions together: photography and outdoor lifestyle.
