About Us
Police and lawyers are intimately involved in the law, and each has different perspectives on it. Our team at La Pietra & Krieger, PC, offers a blending of those perspectives. Our firm is led by experienced former NYPD employees, including a retired sergeant/police attorney. Thanks to this unique background, we deliver steadfast and insightful criminal defense in White Plains, NY. Our practice extends from personal injury cases to real estate service to employment matters, as well.
Our attorneys are the ones that the cops themselves turn to when their rights are at stake. They serve as general counsel for both the NYPD Captain’s Endowment Association and the NYS Fraternal Order of Police

In this unfortunate time, many people are realizing that they don't have a Last Will & Testament. Utilizing apps like Zoom and Facebook Messenger, we have been able to keep up with an uptick in this area of our practice by meeting with clients, drafting their documents, and then, once approved, setting up a virtual meeting where we have the client, the witnesses, and the attorney on separate screens in a virtual meeting for the signature and witnessing of the documents. This is working well for the clients and also for my firm, which continues to provide legal services during this time
