About Us

I provide tutoring services at the Williamsburg Public Library every afternoon; $25 per/session hour, K-College. My children's history books are sold via my website MWAssociates.us.

How We Got Started

While living in Charlottesville, VA in the 1990s, I began teaching child/adolescent psychology at PVCC for Mary Baldwin U. I also became coordinator for USDA child care food program, establishing my own preschool daycare facilities in Virginia and Iowa, as well as a Child Consultant Service. My only granddaughter Clara was fascinated with both the Outer Banks in NC and Pocahontas, which spurred my book writing. I have yet to publish my latest "The Extraordinary Children of Monticello" after returning to wonderful Williamsburg and my Tutoring. Coincidently, also the second home and alma mater/The College of W&M of President Ths Jefferson, and from which my three children also graduated.

Clara was fascinated with the courage and initiative of Pocahontas - plus the fact that they both were born in the same area of Virginia. At age 12, Clara died of heart surgery complications, so I decided to write The Loves of Pocahontas in Clara's honor. I have a website for my books at MWassociates.us and it is included on my Facebook site.
