How We Got Started

Victoria's Chest started with the birth of our youngest daughter Victoria and was opened on June 4th 2021 in memory of our daughter Shiloh Shalom Giles whom we lost that same day in 2013 due to a placenta abruption just at 22 weeks of pregnancy. We created the "Shiloh Collection" in her memory. Read our about page to see how we give back to mothers in need.

I've been open 3 months and my buisness is doing well. I was making zero last year around this time competing online. I'm more concerned about the first few months of 2023. Those can be the hardest months. (more) I've been open 3 months and my buisness is doing well. I was making zero last year around this time competing online. Inflation is not down. Nothing has really changed. Shipping issue have gotten worse which really harms small business. I honestly feel like we are getting taken advantage of as well.  (more) Inflation is not down. Nothing has really changed. Shipping issue have gotten worse which really harms small business. I don't really know what the new normal is? There are so many of them that I think is beneficial to small business owners and others that's causing great harm but I'm hoping some of that "new normal" is taking down the giants who did this to business owners in the first place. Not ashamed to say it. (more) I don't really know what the new normal is? For us we cannot excuse spending the gas money just to go 30 or 50 miles away for essentials and even lesiure shopping. But even when I have to travel I go to small business shops even if the price is higher I'm always glad I did it because the qaulity is always better 💗

Too many in the community start businesses they never could handle I know for a fact that's a problem in the African American community.

Something to definitely consider. I'm really good at marketing but when you become a brick and mortar that's a whole new leg of business marketing. I did a ton of free services but there are colleges that offer marketing classes and some online courses you can pay for as well. Knowledge truly is power don't try to just "figure it out". 👍
