My father Jesse Gurley having years of experience and vast knowledge of the Commercial Construction industry started Systematic Contractors in 1977. After many successful projects and 24 years of service to the local construction industry he decided in 2001 to hang up his hammer ! I had worked with my father and learned the trade for many years. I left early on to explore the vast world of construction and hone my knowledge of the trade with some of the largest interior contractors in the United States and completed some of the largest projects also.
My father always told me " if you can take what I can teach you an what you can learn on your own. You can be twice as smart as me!! " NOT POSSIBLE!!

Fast forward 2003 after resigning from a Superintendent position with a nationwide contractor. I went to my father with a request. I wanted the Systematic Contractors name that he worked so hard to establish to continue. He told me that I was a "DUMBASS" for my choice but agreed!
