I’m a children’s book author and creator of The Little Seed’s Long Wait, a gentle, lyrical picture book about patience, growth, and believing in yourself. My work centers around storytelling that helps children (and the adults reading with them) understand that growth doesn’t always happen on the surface—it happens quietly, over time.
I partner with libraries, schools, and community organizations to bring meaningful read-aloud experiences, author visits, and conversations around literacy and social-emotional learning. My goal is to create stories and experiences that stay with children long after the last page is turned.
The idea for The Little Seed’s Long Wait came from a simple but powerful realization: so many of us spend time waiting—waiting to grow, waiting to be seen, waiting to feel ready. I wanted to create a story that reflects that quiet, often unseen part of the journey and reminds children that growth is happening even when they can’t see it yet.
What began as a single story has grown into a larger mission to create meaningful children’s books and experiences that support patience, resilience, and self-belief.
