Here are 5 tips to keep your mood and spirits up during the dark days:

Tip 1: Create an exercise routine. Doesn't matter what kind. Walking, running, swimming, weight training, yoga, pilates. Anything. But do it 2-3 times a week. If you can do it when its getting dark, that's even better. Work up a sweat if possible. Biologically and psychologically this will work as a vaccine against winter blues.
