About Us

I am a full time professional harpist. I am a regular Gig Salad Top Performer and a Bash Best Artist with over 40 five-out-of-five star client reviews. I love the magical sound and look of the harp, and I love to share it with the public, and with harp students of all ages, through concerts with my ensembles and orchestras, and when I play for all types of events. I have Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Juilliard and I play a wide range of music - beautiful classical selections, contemporary songs, Disney and Broadway tunes, Celtic music and more. I frequently play as a solo harpist and also with violin or flute other combinations. There is nothing like live music!

How We Got Started

I began the harp at the age of seven, renting a small harp and taking weekly lessons. I loved the sound, the music, and all the exciting opportunities that come with playing the harp, and in high school I began taking lessons in NYC. For college, I went to Juilliard, where I received my Bachelor and Master degrees in Harp Performance. While at Juilliard I did a lot of performing, at the school and in many places all around New York City, and I also began teaching the harp to my own students, and found I loved that way of sharing music, too. I am a full time harpist, and it's been a great career!

Fortunately I had a dba account, (the Bank would not have accepted the application otherwise) and they worked on it quite diligently and got it in quickly, and I was approved in the first round.  I received the money May 1st.  People's Bank came through for me and I have some funds which are a big help for the next couple of months.  Of course, it may be a long time before I can be playing my music in public, but I really appreciate this assistance.  I think it is very rare for an artist to receive help like this.

I am a full time Harpist.  I do a lot of performing and orchestra concerts, chamber music concerts, and even Church services have been canceled, affecting my business heavily.  I also teach harp lessons, and still have some students coming to me, and I am seeing some for online or phone lessons.... With schools closed, and many people wanting to stay home, some are taking a break, which is sad.  It seems like a time when the healing power of music could really be helpful!

I like to play a variety of music. I am classically trained, so I would include some wonderful classical selections. I would make sure to include some music that the audience might know, classical, and some popular songs, too, show tunes, and standards. I also like to include some Irish music, because it is so heartfelt, and beautiful, and the harp is the national symbol of Ireland. And here in the Northeast, there are many people with Irish heritage. I speak about the music and the harp, and connect with the audience in that way as well. I also perform themed programs - all Irish music around Saint Patrick's Day, or love songs for Valentine's Day, or a Holiday music program. The harp is so magical, and people love to see and hear it!
