Second, as a woman entering the 80s workforce, it was my experience that most corporations of the day stymied creativity as opposed to encouraging it.  Back then, I felt the only way I could continue to learn and grow was to be my own "boss" so I could innovate where I wished rather than conform to archaic standards.  Risking failure is always an option in every choice we make, and so is experiencing success.  I chose to focus on my thoughts, words and actions on positive energy, and as the saying goes, "what you think, you become."

My neighbourhood is situated next to city centre so several homeless people make our lanes their regular searching grounds. I know each of their names and have furnished them with clothing, bicycles, food and other items which they collect to sell or exchange.
