Plugged bathtub or shower
Are you standing in water during your shower? Does it take forever to drain your bath? Chances are, it is hair build up. Oils from our body and residue from the soaps and shampoos work together to line the pipe and catch the hair. If it is a tub, 9 times out of 10, running a ¼” cable through the overflow is the most efficient route to work. If it is a shower, most likely the cable is just run through the top of the drain.
