After spending over 15 years in the corporate world, I observed the vast resources readily available to large companies. In contrast, solopreneurs often lack these resources, which can hinder their ability to achieve their dreams or lead to burnt out as they try to manage all aspects of their business alone.

As the Founder of Davis Bookkeeping Services, my mission is to positively impact the lives of small business owners and their families. My accounting journey began in high school and culminated in earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UCF in 2001. After nearly 20 years working in public / private Accounting and the corporate world, I faced a pivotal moment in my career. In May 2020, I was laid off from my corporate job due to COVID-19. As a single mother of two boys at the time, reentering an unstable job market after 14 years with the same employer was frightening.

This led me back to working with small businesses, where I rediscovered my passion. I found a renewed sense of purpose leveraging my experience to support small businesses, which inspired me to launch Davis Bookkeeping Services.
