Last time my bank of over 20 years was the confusion!! Regions Bank!! I went to Valley Bank Down the street within walking distance from my store and considering Regions said I did not qualify for in 10 days Valley bank had the $$ in my new account! If I did not qualify I did not know who would!!

I had to put stop payment on 38 checks I’d given my vendors! How do I pay them now. Business is terrible and we have had 3 peaceful protests so far on Park Ave., on Saturday and Sunday two of my best days it’s all over social media peaceful or not people will NOT come and shop !! Then I lost Easter business on my kids side with a truck load of bunnies every where on clothing and animals and baskets and Easter bonnets!! Done gone $5000.00 inventory not paid !! My bank told me to send it back!!! They know nothing about retail!! Easter is almost bigger than Xmas for me!!! Next First Holy Communion cancelled another area huge for me majority of Catholic Churches know me and after 38 years of Supply the biggest selection of dresses veils shoes gloves another hit$ 5000.00 , next on my ladies side PROM $7000.000 of Prom sitting on my floor NO Prom, NEXT Derby Hats I’m known for my excellent selection I’ve been on TV with them! $3000.00 of Derby Hats NO DERBY!!! Next I’m a huge huge vendor at PAGEANTS for past 12 years ! If u don’t know Orlando is a Pageant Mecca for Nationals!!! They come w their whole family daughters do pageant and family go to DISNEY, SEA WORLD , do you get it??? I’m afraid very afraid!! I’m about to lose my business of 38 years!! On Park Ave., they the people say I’m an ICON on the Ave., I can’t go anywhere! WHAT DO I DO??? I’m afraid I can’t get an accountant to represent me!! How do I pay him??? Big question do they take their $$$ from the loan!!! I’m not a fly by night retailer I’ve put my blood, sweat and tears for 38 years in this business !! Where do I turn??? Who wants to help me?????

I need more financial help my L/L charged me the tax, Insurance, property tax only for April and May while we where closed and now he expects it back pro-rated till end of year my rent goes up to $10.800.00 a month . Also the day before we closed I went to my bank to put stop payment on 38 checks to my vendors as I need to be in business and making $ every day to pay them . Along w the fact I lost my Easter business which is huge in the kids retail, I lost my First Communion business which is also huge for me a Catholic Church at end of my Street where my store is, and I lost my Prom Business I have huge inventory of gowns and I also set up at pageants and sell, being that Orlando is the Pageant Mecca for all the big National Pageants I also lost all that business w my adjoining Ladies store! I’m stressed to the max I grew my business over 38 years w the small business mentality built w hard work blood , sweat, and tears!!
I just got my PPP and I’ve paid my employees!! However the small percentage allotted for rent is minuscule in comparison to what I pay. On top of that most retailers had just received their spring and summer goods and have not paid for the inventory yet!! What is allowed for that? I’ve been down...

I’ve been down for 5 weeks now everything is due and overdue!! I’ve been in business a long time! What do we do now? Let’s face it things are not going to happen overnight! I feel L/L have to adjust rents thru end of 2020! I think $$ needs to be available to help w invoices! We all need time and I think end of year is not an unreasonable estimation!! And for landlords to expect you to re-pay what they have discounted you for a couple of months is highly impossible! To expect u to pay starting June 1st and they have added in the reduction they gave u for two months and then amortize it over the rest of the year is totally impossible to pay!!!

I’ve lost my husband at 54 and 7 years later my 19 year old son my baby, and a year and a half ago my last surviving daughter at 39 to breast cancer who also worked in the store w me.
