How We Got Started
I started working as a photojournalist with photo agencies and news services and moved into commercial pictures with digital photography. Initially I worked in film, developing it, captioning and submitting it to photo editors for news and feature assignments I covered, and this for newspapers and magazines.
The front page deals with a fashion and style genre of ads and creative ideas and draws the most attention, done using imagination with added stock and from an original session for a dress catalogue or modeling pictures. Inner pages at: http://jacquephoto.com, are for commercial work, from an international technology corporation to food photography for the Hilton Hotel and the University of Central Florida and more. Also many images on my website do not necessarily represent local photography and may not bring pro bono requests in as in the last one I received on Monday for a shoot in New York city for a Michael Kors ad Nov. 2-4 from an agency I applied to. I have not come across this as clients are commercial corporations or individuals I know through channels and are reliable on payment. If this shows up I would nudge them on for payment by going to several sources within the company trying the accounting dept., others connected to the work done,...

If this shows up I would nudge them on for payment by going to several sources within the company trying the accounting dept., others connected to the work done, etc. and get word traveling around you have not been paid yet. In photography work is usually not delivered till payment is received, but with commercial work it is also paid afterwards.
