Where do you host your website?

Hi,
I see that the Better Business Bureau issued an alert on BluDomain earlier this year. I also see a review from someone who says they lost their 8 year old photography website. So it might be a good idea to move. However, you need to have a good plan to ensure business continuity.
Your website does not seem to be on a platform like WordPress. Perhaps it is is built with BluDomain proprietary code that you may not be able to transfer elsewhere without continuing with their services.
It appears from their FAQ that you would be able to move your site to another web hosting service. But it is likely that they would have a list of preferred providers.
If you take a clean break you would need to find a firm who would help you recreate the website. If you decide to go the WordPress route then you may consider Bluehost. Your domain registrar seems to be GoDaddy, so that might be a good option too. I have an account with GoDaddy. I have used 1&1 and Hostgator too. All of them have problems once in a while. But might be a lot better than your current hosting service.
If you move to Wix then you would need to make fewer decisions, but you would be exchanging one walled garden for another.
It might be a good idea to check whether the domain registrar recognizes you as the owner of the domain. From the BBB warning it seems that BluDomain does not always register domains in the business owner's name.
If you move you would also need to make sure you are able to migrate your emails. You might need to pay for an email account depending on the new hosting plan.
Perhaps one of your clients would be able to recommend a local firm that you can speak with. Feel free to reach out to me for any clarifications on whatever I have written here. Anyways, you have already received a lot of great responses and recommendations. I hope you can quickly resolve this issue and focus on your clients. Pun intended LOL.
Regards, Shoumo
