Business Coaching, Consulting, Counseling and Advisory services
Business owners are experts when it comes to the matter of what they offer. At the same time, they do not have the luxury of switching between time in the trenches and the war room. There is also the matter of blind spots. Are doctors allowed to treat themselves or close family members? There is a reason why self-medication is not legal.
Sooner or later all business leaders need help. Often to identify the type of help they need. Have you been working on solving any or some of these issues or challenges?
- Increase revenue & profits, stabilize cash flow and create reserves
- Match right products and services to the right customer segment
- Create new revenue opportunities with new customer segments or products & services
- Streamline delivery processes for efficiency and cost reduction
- Identify partners and create a partner collaboration plan
- Staying competitive in the changing market environment
Do you feel it would be nice to phone a friend, get a more detailed business tune-up or call in the cavalry? Most likely you do not care what the label of the service is as long you have a solution.
It is, however, nice to know the options
- As a business coach I help breaking down complex problems into specific goals. I use the GROW (Goal, Reality, Options and Work plan) approach. I have been using it since my days in IBM. It works best where milestones and methods to achieve business goals are vague.
- As a business consultant I analyze the challenges to find solutions. I would recommend options that would be best suited under the circumstances. The intent is to work out the roadmap. I often help business owners carry out the recommendations. In this capacity I have a most hands on involvement.
- As a business advisor I get into the weeds to provide a longer term direction. This includes proactive risk management or opportunity spotting.
- In business counseling role I step in as an “accountability partner.” It often involves working on perspectives and mindsets.
How do you decide which of those options suit you? It is rarely an either/or situation. So let’s talk. We can figure out the approach what makes sense once we speak.
Look up the recommendations on this profile. One says, “I have been working with Shoumo for just a few months now and I have already improved by business mindset. I have put several plans and advice of his into action. He is a great mentor and a person who really cares about helping others.”
