About Us
The mission of the Club shall be to encourage and promote bicycling for health, recreation, sport, and transportation. This includes promoting bicycle safety, improving facilities, roads and paths, and supporting individuals, organizations, and others who support cycling.

Our family moved to Texas so that my husband could finish his carrier. We had just moved and I didn't know anyone. I ran in "Race for the Cure" and a girl from my job said I should consider riding bikes with her. I didn't know anyone in Texas so it seemed like a good idea. Now it is 20 years later and I like to consider myself a cycling advocate. The freedom cycling gives you, the health benefits, the personal satisfaction it is all priceless. I wanted to give cyclists great events and promote cycling in youth. I could eat, sleep, drink, cycling and that is why I formed the Mountain Top Cycling Club.
I am starting my fundraising champagne earlier. Companies, make their budgets in October and so I like to give them a heads up early so they can set some aside. Plus events for 2019 are already rolling out. You have to be setting up next years event before you even complete this years event.
