Catherine Yearwood was born & raised in Wrightsville Beach, NC and moved to California after high school. While in school and working at a retail store in San Diego, Catherine discovered her love of fashion. Catherine was quickly promoted at her job and became a buyer and this is when she realized this is what she wanted to do. After moving back to North Carolina five years later, Catherine quickly recognized the lack of boutiques in her home town... and Hallelu was born! Hallelu is the root word of Hallelujah that means "Praise". Catherine and her husband, Dave, want their life to be a reflection of their faith and hope that it shines through all that they do. The heart and desire behind Hallelu is to be a place where people come and feel loved. "When you come to shop with us you become a part of our family. We want to be more than a clothing store. We want to be a staple in our community" says Catherine.
