I wrote my first poem about my pet, Marshmellow, when I was seven years old. That's when I discovered I love creative writing, especially, stories and poetry.

Since that time, while working for the greater good integrating my creative writing talents with a 30-year career as an elementary educator I became a publish children's author and literary poet.

Now I am a visiting author and poetry workshop presenter.

I pride myself in encouraging young people to develop an appreciation for the literary art of poetry. I use engaging language arts activities for any age.
