Many of our Spring and Summer projects had already been designed throughout the winter months. Those projects are certainly being impacted in the construction phase. HOWEVER, design and major renovations historically slow down during a presidential election year, due to concerns over the overall economy and interest rates. In some cases, COVID-19 has all but eliminated large scale design work. I do however see a renewed interest in home improvements and additions. People are now realizing that home now serves also as a school, work, and a place to relax. Why not make the space as comfortable and functional as possible?
