Bookday is short for Booker T. Washington Holiday, which is a cultural celebration with four main events. The Four main events are; Garden Development, doing community gardens, Book Signings and readings highlighting cultural authors, Art and Talent Show that display our cultural entertainment, and The Black Empowerment Awards showing appreciation for Black Excellence..
How We Got Started
Bookday started in April 2017 as a Black Nation Movement action plan to implement quality black culture that every community can be proud to support and be apart of.. Its a celebration that inspires unity, excellence and great inspirations while at the same time being a quality source of education and workshops..
