This is a spray in bed liner. I scuff the entire surface with a 90 grit sander then blow all the dust out. Then I wipe the entire surface with alcohol. After cleaning the bed and or surface I then mask the complete vehicle off with paper and plastic wrap. Heat the machine to 160 degrees and pressurize it to 2500psi. Then I  wipe it down again and shoot the protective coat at 100+ mils thick. Peel the tape and remove the masking and poof a lifetime of protection.
