The Freedom Library was started because of the need for individuals of all ages to understand the U.S. Constitution and economics in order that individual liberty and freedom may live on for generations to come. There is a lot of disgruntlement about what government does and does not do. It is very difficult to question government officials if one does not understand the U.S. Constitution since it is this document that describes the duties of the very officials that are elected to office. When the U.S. Constitution is understood by "We the People" then government will do what it is allowed to do, protect and secure the inalienable rights of individuals.
