Unfortunately being the last piece to the puzzle to get a closing finished, we feel not only the pressure to make it happen THIS DAY, but also the customer's frustration. We truly empathize with them as not all experiences should be this way. When the customer vents on us we understand we are the face to face contact and their eyes plead for someone to help them understand, and that is what I try to do. I try to encourage them in their decision for a home purchase as that in my opinion is the ultimate investment. If a client is truly trying to close but lender, etc won't give them reason they can understand, I have stepped into their shoes and made an effort to find what is stopping the closing from happening. I then try to relate this back to the customer in words they can understand. The biggest compliment I received and I pride myself on this, the lady said "Thank you for being honest, we never could get an answer from them (lender)". That is all the customer wants is honesty, and that is what I build my reputation on each day. To make it happen THIS DAY, we have closed as early as 5:00 am and as late as 9:00 pm (not same day of course).
