Turnabout Counseling offers counseling for rocky relationships, troubled teens, and adults. I help you discover and use your existing resources to find solutions to problems. I also serve as a divorce coach for those going through a divorce using the collaborative divorce process. In addition, I enjoy working with middle school, high school, and college students struggling with academic and social situations.

There's a TED talk I like that may address this called, How to Make Stress Your Friend. The main idea is that how you interpret the physical symptoms of stress (sweating, rapid heartbeat, etc) affects how the stress impacts you. An example might be that when you are just about to spar with someone who might just clean your clock, you may get jittery but interpret it as your body getting ready for what's to come, and paying it no mind. But, if you have those same physical signs right before an important business presentation, you might interpret it as "I'm not prepared and I"m going to choke".
