One of my landlords (I have 3) lowered our lease for March and April 2020. I repaid the balance in July and he was shocked saying he didn’t expect it back. I told him I didn’t want his consideration to also be at his expense. I have not asked for another temporary reduction, though I could use it. Instead I’m working harder and doing without a few things to keep my commitments. Not everyone can do this, I understand that. Landlords have overhead too. I’m quite confident this landlord and another (I’ve leased from for years) would reduce my rent if I asked. I guess I feel that’s a last resort.  I’m selling my staging furniture inventory to offset losses. Happy to report it’s saving our butts. Good luck to everyone and Happy Holidays!
