On a Sunday morning 10 years ago as I was drinking my morning coffee, I received an email from the mother of the bride of the night before stating how wonderful everything was, and praising the food and my staff. Last month, unbeknownst to me, the same lady sent me an email that she was at her grandson's wedding at the palace  and raved again about the food and ambience and reminded me of her daughter's wedding. She left a review on wedding wire and other social places as well which was greatly appreciated. This story always comes up whenever I have a bad day that what I do matter and keeps me in line to always do the best regardless if I'm tired or bored. Anne

Always require a deposit and a credit card to be on file. If they don't pay you on time, you can always charge their card. Once you have all your bases covered then they have no chance to drag their feet. They'll be paying you before they get charged late fees or interest. It would be best to start at a smaller scale and then expand learning as you go along the way. People trust in experience. Event planning is very rewarding emotionally especially when you see your vision come to life and all is happy with the final product. yes you would need to pay for your personal tax and also the business. Your salary should not come from your net profit. This will be just like you pay all your employees. Tally up at the end of each month if not the end of the year to know what your business's net profit is. Anne (more) yes you would need to pay for your personal tax and also the business. That is definitely my favorite part of my job. Especially if you're confident in your product. Also, I get to know the couple personally and have a feel of what they expect at their wedding.
