The unfortunate largest impact is for patients that would otherwise choose ongoing preventative care measures, however these are disallowed at this time due to contagion containment. We are currently aiding patients only on the case-by-case basis due to acute pain and injury that is facilitating a level of disability. We continue to wish everyone the best in moving forward and remaining strong. Health and Blessings!

If I can and could “fix” a patient in (1) visit, fantastic. Obviously it is a matter of what is applicable for the patients best long-term functional outcome. I am not one to add “high” ticket items solely based upon revenue. If the procedure is costly but appropriate and worth- while, then of course it’s viable. Unfortunately I feel this question, although very likely well- in tended, compares apples to oranges.

Meaning that in my office if x-rays are necessary, we always sit down with the patient and educate them about their personal findings. I start with what I call my “Medical glasses” whereby I describe any pathologic changes such as fracture, dislocation, potential cancers or other medically necessary variance that might necessitate referral. Afterwords if there are none of those findings I go over my “Chiropractic or biometric/bio-mechanical” findings  explaining apparent overall postural changes, subluxation changes etc. That describe potentially warranted conservative treatment care plans. The point being that the patients come away understanding how to read their x-rays and interpret their own findings/results so that they are empowered with a much greater working knowledge and understanding of their own physiology.  I would say the most chiropractors do this as we all feel that simply telling a patient what to do based on our findings clinically is never as powerful as teaching to patient themselves “why “we have come to our clinical determinations and recommendations for care.  ~  hope this helps

A good practitioner will work to file primary cause(s), however we must keep in mind that even the latest Harvard study shows that the Placebo Effect( often ignored or forgotten by some practitioners ) in known to account for as much as 30%-60% of outcomes assessed. Therefore, reductionist models remain lacking.

First of all, make sure they will sit down with you for a consultation- I do this for free personally. Make sure they can answer your questions and give you some guidance based upon your specific circumstances. This way, you better understand your options and if Chiropractic is a good one for you... Hello Jim. Depending upon the state, Chiropractors are required to take a minimum of 15-18 hours annually. Let me know if any further questions.  (more) Hello Jim. Depending upon the state, Chiropractors are required to take a minimum of 15-18 hours annually. Let me know if any further questions.
