When I first started sales, cold calling was my worst enemy. I dreaded every single second of it, however, now I am so thankful that I stuck with it. Being almost as much of an introvert as I am an extrovert, it has really help me grow not only as a sales person but as a person in general. I now find myself at multiple networking events each week, speaking in front of 30-40 people and have even done a couple interviews on TV. I wouldn't say I completely enjoy it but I have seen great things come out of it. My best advice is to find something you are passionate about and not quit. Cold calling looks a lot different when you love what you do. Get out there, network and don't ever give up.
