As a small business owner that drives around town to visit clients at their homes and offices, I have always had some type of signage on my car. Initially it was magnetic signs on the doors (which were stolen when the car was parked at a mall), but I ultimately settled on permanent lettering on the side or rear windows. My most unique opportunity came when my son and I went shopping at a nearby Target store early on a Sunday morning in 2003. As I was exiting the car, a gentleman came up to me and asked "You do web sites?" I eventually did 3 different web sites for him and he is still a customer! But perhaps it is not so unique after all - I have gained 2 additional customers in the past 3 years who also contacted me based on the signs.
