If you have a limited budget, create your own website in WIX or Squarespace, they have superb templates that are much easier to set up than WordPress; they can host for about $100/year. If you pay someone, make sure they give you total access to make changes yourself when they complete the site on a simple platform. Usually a totally customized site built from scratch is unnecessary.
