I only know how we found someone was through word of mouth - through other realtors or checking with contractors because many are part time HI as well. They may be wanting to branch out but without all the overhead. Just a thought, not sure if this is standard practice, but is it common to have some sort of distance clause in a contract? We have competition in town and we all work with the same people. If someone was to come to you (or leave you) they could bring (take) clients. I know it is more common in medical fields to have such clauses. Good Luck.
