In my industry, I feel the number one cause of employee turn over is burn out. Too much is being asked of too few people, and there is no one to provide coverage to allow employees to take much needed and deserved time off. The solution is making sure the business is properly staffed and making sure every employees' heath and wellness is being monitored by having open lines of communication between management and the staff.

That's a challenging gig / occupation. First, I would create a professional looking LinkedIn page and begin connecting to as many small business owners and CEO's as possible. Make sure you have all contact information filled in correctly. Always, ALWAYS have backups and do it properly. The damage from losing all your data far outweighs the cost to ensure you don't.
We like to implement a rotation of backups to take offsite as well as offsite backup (both image and file-level) to a data center.
The best idea is to have a grandfather-father-son (year end, quarter end, month end) rotation for backup jobs that are run manually to an external hard disk that you can take offsite and store in a safe...
