Everything that has been written is accurate. However, it is CRITICAL that the Profit & Loss (or Income) statement is accurate. Too often, when I review a client's records, items have been categorized incorrectly and, frequently, items that are not business deductions get included (and sometimes legitimate business deductions are not included) and create an inaccurate picture. Relying on your tax preparer or accountant to be sure you have ACCURATE statements is a critical step in the process.

I put a lot of clients into Wave and also SageOne, depending on what their needs are. THe best thing to do is sit with an accountant, tell them about your business then make the decision together.
