Luckily, the Florida construction market is so hot that we never get a moment to rest. I would spend the money on advertising doing it myself. Haven't had any luck with others such as Home Advisors, etc.

Reliable? Let me know when you find out. There is no union in Florida. I have had better luck with older workers who I paid higher then average.

I think this answer varies from State to State. For example, Floridians use Craigslist a lot for labor, while other States it's not a reputable source. It's hard for me to answer in that there is more work in Florida then I can handle.. perhaps it's because my company deals in laminate flooring...

In today's world of technology, everything is now. I find if I even call sometimes 10 minutes latter, I lost the job. Other times, they are just clients that you would prefer not to deal with anyway...they don't care about your skill or product, but just how cheap. Your better off without them....

Consider yourself lucky with them. They will consume your time never compensating you fairly.
I have used Craigslist a lot. Many of my clients from Craigslist are already in the industry, which means an establish price pursuant to industry standards; however, I have given them a better price for the work; therefore, resulting in repeat business and referrals.

Home Advisors etc are one shot deals from home owners in which you are competing against whoever else they referred the home owner. And, the leads are not cheap.
