The answer is not a simple one. How often do you travel, what city, parking availability and cost. With Uber, there are insurance concerns, scams, and sometimes sketchy drivers. In big cities, cab service is still poor. The only value in having someone drive you, whether cab or TNC's, is that someone is driving you while you can relax or in some cases even get things done so the time is not wasted. Those are intrinsic values that only you can valuate. Will you get rid of your car completely? Probably not, so some of the costs will still be there. Having a car available on a whim is also an important convenience.I think it's a personal preference and not necessarily a matter of convenience.
