Belinda Dunn is a professional astrologer with over 35 years experience. As a teen, Belinda experienced a compelling vision that initiated within her a deep questioning as to the meaning and purpose of life. Shortly thereafter, she as led to the ancient science of yoga and began training at the Temple of Kriya Yoga, Chicago. In 1972 Belinda received her certification as Hatha Yoga instructor, and graduated from the Temple seminary program in 1974 as Swami Lakshmi-ananda.

In 1989, Belinda and her family moved to Asheville, North Carolina. They published Asheville's first alternative newspaper. This inspired Belinda to begin writing a monthly astrology column, "What's UP."
