About Us
Intellex develops custom business software, tailored to the way your business works. Most companies wind up using packages, but no two companies do business exactly the same way. Packages cause them to adjust their operations to the limitations of the software. By developing a custom program that works the way your company does, we allow you to work efficiently and utilize all your company's capabilities.
How We Got Started
Intellex was formed in 1984 by a programmer who thought there were better ways for software to be developed and to serve clients more fully. Since then, we have served hundreds of companies around the country and the world with custom software packages in a wide variety of industries.

I don't think so. I don't have employees, but I have set up many of my clients to have their employees work from home. Obviously, there are distractions at home, but there is socialization in the office that people don't tend to notice. It really depends on the person. People who are able to compartmentalize their attention will be able to work from any environment. People who can't will need to be watched closer. Many companies have metrics for productivity, the number of orders entered, the number of support calls handled, etc. If those numbers stay within the normal range, then you're fine.
We usually travel somewhere and do shopping on Small Business Saturday, but my brother-in-law is getting married the day before Thanksgiving in Las Vegas and we need to be there, so we're skipping travel for the weekend.
